Hiring of rooms

Domaine de la Tour has a number of stylish function rooms at your disposal:

- 1 room of 120 m2 and a room of 50 m2 on the first floor.
- 1 room of 120 m2 with open stone fireplace and another room of 50 m2 on the ground floor

The rooms can be used independently or made to be intercommunicating, depending on your needs.

In order to fully enjoy the wonderful surroundings of Domaine de la Tour, its sunny southfacing terrace and beautiful grounds are also at your disposal.

Our property is suitable for different events, such as weddings, birthdays, seminars, meetings, trainings or conferences. For a small group or a large party.

Whatever your needs, we can assist with the organisation of your event : sourcing a caterer, entertainer, photographer, hairdresser, dj or florist.

Parking is absolutely no problem; Domaine de la Tour has a large private parking area for 100 cars.

At Domaine de la Tour a short or long stay is possible: you can rent one of the rooms or the whole property... for one or more days, or a weekend. It's just what you prefer.

Welcome to Domaine de la Tour in Normandy, a perfect place for extended families or several different families wanting to holiday together with plenty of space for everybody, old and young alike.

Our 2 gites : Gîte Delille and Gîte Marmontel are set in 7 hectares of land offering a tranquil, rural retreat in which to relax and unwind. Formerly stables to the nearby chateau, the two gites have been entirely renovated whilst keeping their authentic charm, offering you the chance to experience the unique style and historical beauty of these gites in France.

Both gites have a spacious living area with leather sofas and flatscreen satellite TV, a dvd-player, and a library of DVDs for kids and parents. High speed fibre internet access via WiFi is available in both gites.

In 2018 we created a 3rd gîte called Gîte Alembert, a 2-person PRM gîte accessible for wheelchairs. This gîte has a small kitchenette.

There is a shared playroom equipped with plenty of toys for the under 5s and another playroom with table football, a pool table and table tennis for older kids (and their parents!). We have an outdoor play area and there are extensive grounds in which to play outdoor games and enjoy picnics and the little ones can enjoy petting the animals in the paddock. There is an outdoor 6 person jacuzzi at your disposal as well (reservation required).

On our parking area you will find 4 electric vehicle charging stations (2 general chargers and 2 Tesla). Parking area of 2200 m2. Extra beds and baby equipment : on request.

Accomodation details

Both our gites have an identical layout and each one sleeps up to 10 people over three floors.

Ground floor:

Kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge, cooker, coffee machine, water boiler, washing machine, dryer)
Open plan living room with dining area including high chair (with french windows leading into the private garden)
Lounge area with leather sofas, TV and DVD player
Toilet

Staircase (protected top and bottom by stair gates) leads to the First Floor:

1 triple bedroom with ensuite bathroom (bath, shower, sink, toilet) + 1 change table
1 twin bedroom with ensuite shower room (shower, sink, toilet).

Staircase (protected top and bottom by stair gates) leads to the Second floor:

1 twin bedroom with ensuite shower room (shower, sink, toilet)
1 triple bedroom with ensuite shower room (shower, sink, toilet)

Additional beds and cots can be added to certain rooms on request.

Outside:

Each gite has a private fenced garden of 300 m2 with garden furniture, terrace and barbecue
In front of the gîtes is an enclosed courtyard area of 500 m2, (ideal for playing petanque-French Boules)
Grounds of 7 hectares
Paddock with donkeys for petting (May until November).

Rates and availability

Our gîtes are available for hire on a daily or weekly basis and for short breaks.

Week : from Friday 4pm until Friday 10am. Rates vary from 895 euro in low season to 1945 euro in July and August.

Midweek break: from Monday 4pm until Friday 10am. Rates start at 595 euro.

Long weekend: from Friday 4pm until Monday 10am. Rates start at 595 euro.

The rates are including heating, water and electricity, final cleaning, towels and bed linen (all beds are made on your arrival).

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the property.

Not included in the rate: 1 euro city tax per adult per night.

Pre-arrival shopping service
Before arrival simply email your requirements and you can arrive to a well-stocked fridge and plentiful nappy supply. You just need to pack a few clothes and we’ll take care of all the rest.

Massage
Relax and unwind with a massage at Domaine de la Tour in your gite in Normandy. To be ordered 1 week before your arrival.

Jacuzzi
Have a great relaxing time in our outdoor jacuzzi. For 6 people maximum, reservation required. The rate is 30 euro per hour for 2 people, 15 euro per extra person.

Fresh bread service
The service is free: fresh bread delivered every morning before 9:00 am to your door.

Maid service
A daily cleaning service : 20 euro per hour.

Bike rental
Bicycle rental for the whole family : bicycles will be delivered to Domaine de la Tour. To be ordered 1 week before your arrival.

Rates and details

Our rates go from 85 euro until 99 euro per night for our twinrooms and from 99 euro to 129 euro per night for our suite for 2 people in high season. A nice an healthy breakfast is included in the room rate. All products served are local, organic and Fairtrade. For long stays of five nights or more we offer you a discount of 10 % on the total rate. If you want to make a reservation and have a look at the rates, please contact us.

We will happily cater for specific requests such as a high chair or a cot with mattress and bedding included. There is a fridge with minibar and microwave at your disposal in a shared living room for all our guests. In the main house you will also find our fitnessroom.

On our grounds we have a play area with picnic table and a paddock with different animals for petting.

Payements can be made by creditcard (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Maestro) and in cash (euro).

Not included in the rate: 1 euro city tax per person per night.
